In Lucretia Jaynes DeLong's diary the family name is Jane.

Jesse was married three times. His first wife was Mary Rockwell. She died in her early forties. His second wife was Nancy, his third is Lydia Close.

In Lucretia's diary she refers to Nancy Jane as her as mother so dear. She also mentions Anna Rockwell her Aunt.
This is the poem she wrote of her father Jesse:

Oh Father dear altho' you are now from me many a mile,
But still to me you are as dear as when I was a child.

It was then dear Father you did guide an directed me for the best
For which I did you never chide nor against your will protest.

Altho' I went against your will In choosing me a mate
But hope you will forgive me still, it was my unhappy state.

But if on earth we never meet, to be happy in each other
In heaven we shall each other meet, and ? no more forever.
