Obituary, The Columbia Daily Tribune, November 1, 2005:

Jemima Ann Perkins, 94, of Columbia passed away Saturday, Oct. 29, 2005, at The Bluffs.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, at Parker Funeral Service, with the Rev. Kathy Morrison officiating. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oakland Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Perkins was born May 14, 1911, in Columbia to Henry Lee and Annie Lee McBaine.

She married William "Jack" Rothwell Perkins, and he preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Rebecca Lodge and participated in many church activities, liked ceramics and needle working and played piano by ear, even after moving to The Bluffs.

Survivors include two sons, Richard Perkins of Riverside, Calif., and William "Fred" Perkins of Bradford, Fla.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Edgar "Eddie" Lee and Charles Norman Perkins; and a granddaughter, Patricia Ann Perkins.
