COOKEVILLE - Funeral services for Martha Beulah Billingsley, 92, of Cookeville will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 13, from the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home.

Burial will be in J.J. White Cemetery.

The family will receive friends after 1 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Billingsley died on Tuesday, Nov. 10, 1998, at her home.

She was born on March 4, 1906, in Putnam County to the late Joe and Peggy Flatt White. Mrs. Billingsley was a homemaker and a member of Post Oak Shade Free Will Baptist Church.

Her family includes four sons and two daughters-in-law, Ralph and Hazel Billingsley and Shirley Billingsley, all of Cookeville, Dewey Billingsley of Seattle, Wash., and Burnice and Frances Billingsley of Lascassas; a daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Carson Cowan of Cookeville; a sister, Edna Goolsby of Cookeville; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Billingsley; an infant son; five brothers and four sisters.

Pallbearers will be Mrs. Billingsley's grandsons and great-grandsons.

Revs. Dow Allen and Arvil Lee will officiate at the services.
