"Funeral services for Fannie F. Souders were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 15, 1990 in the Pocasset United Methodist Church with Rev. Bob Tupper officiating.
Mrs. Souders was 88 years old and was born Jan. 7, 1902 in The Grove, TX. She died Monday, Nov. 12, in Chickasha Nursing Center.
She was the daughter of Emmett and Florence Nelms Shipp. She had lived in Pocasset since January 1926.
She married Roy Souders in Minco on Dec. 11, 1927. They were married 60 years.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church and Eastern Star.
Survivors include three sons, Richard of Pocasset, Robert of Ft. Worth, TX, and Roy, Jr. of Vanvert, Ohio; one daughter, Oleta Salek of Midwest City, three brothers, Hansel Shipp, Oklahoma City, Emmett Shipp, Pocasset, Orin Shipp, Shawnee, 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roy in 1988, two brothers, Francis and Ted Shipp and one grandson, Neal Souders...Burial was in the Pocasset Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home, Minco."
