Mrs. Margaret Oleson died Tuesday, May 9, at the home of her son-in-law, Mr. O. Halvorson, in this village, of paralysis, after having long been an invalid. She was nearly 77 years of age at the time of her death and has always been loved and respected for her kind, benevolent and Christian qualities. Mrs. Oleson was born at Saudland, Norway, and came to Wisconsin with her husband in 1843. Four of her children survive her, Capt. Ole Oleson, postmaster at Oshkosh, Martin Oleson, also of Oshkosh, Mrs. Anna Jackson, of Eau Claire, and Mrs. O. Halvorson, of this village, all of them being present at her funeral. The last sad rites were held at the Scandinavian church, in this village, Rev. Gerstrom, of Oshkosh, officiating, assisted by Rev.
Sillars, pastor of the Presbyterian church.
