Mary Pank Turner was the daughter of Walter and Sarah Turner. She was born in Norwich, Norfolk England in 1818 and immigrated to America in 1832. She had at least three brothers, William (1813-1888), John Juler (1815-1890), and Robert (1826-1903). She was the second wife of Catharinus Putnam Buckingham, marrying him Aug 24, 1835 at the age of 17. She and CP Buckingham had three children, Frederick (1837-1844), Ebenezer, 1840-1866), and Catherine (1843-1892).
