Sallie E. Garner and W. L. Brannon married on Jan. 8, 1868, in Yalobusha County. They had two children not linked below:
• Loyd Clarence Brannon, born ~1869 in Mississippi, married Louise Mitchell ~1896 in Kentucky, last known alive in the 1930 census in Greenville, Mississippi.
• Samuel L. Brannon, born ~1872 in Mississippi, last known alive in the 1930 census in Jackson, Mississippi.

Note: An image of her death certificate is located here. It lists her parents as George & Letitia Williams Garner. The informant on the certificate is her daughter Blanche. Sarah died in Blanche's home in Jackson.

Before her death certificate came to light, I believed that she was the daughter of Samuel R. Garner & Mary Donohoo Garner. Her father George and Samuel are believed to be brothers.
