Windy Hill Beach March 3 Mrs. Honor Jane Hardee Hardwick, 87 widow of William T Hardwick died Wednesday at the home of her eon, H. T. Hardwick at Windy Hill Beach.
She had been in declining health for the past three months.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. at Mt. Leon Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. G Clyde Prince and the Rev. Olive Rice.
Burial will follow in Buck Creek Church Cemetery.
Mrs Hardwick was born in Horry County, Nov. 28, 1866 a daughter of the late Isaac C. and Honor Hardee.
She was a member of the Mt. Leon Baptict Church.
Pallbearers will be Earl Hardwick, Walden Hardwick, Robert Carler, Eugene Hardee, Junior Hardwick, and Manley Carter.
She is survived by four sons. Harmon Hardwick of Windy HillBeach, the Rev. Oscar E Hardwick of Conway, Nathan Hardwick of Burlington, NC and Willie E. Hardwick of Loris: three daughters, Mrs. J Robert Carter of Conway, Mrs Tharton C Hardee of Longs and Mrs. Ida Bullock of Windy Hill Beach; one Brother, Noah C Hardee of Loris; one sister, Mrs. Ellen Cox of Loris; 41 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; and 11 great-great grandchildren.
