Earl Frederick Pickens, 37, World War veteran, died early Tuesday morning at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William A. Pickens, 905 Maysville avenue. He had been ill of complications for some time and had suffered a nervous breakdown one year ago. He was a member of the First M. E. church.
Surviving are his widow, Thelma Kackley Pickens, one sister, Mrs. Hermine Weber, city, and his parents.
Funeral services will be held at the home of his parents at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon, Rev. Paul Kemper officiating. Interment will be made in the Woodlawn mausoleum.
The body is resting at the Mangold funeral home and will be taken to the Maysville avenue residence late Tuesday evening.
