died Saturday, June 28, 1958 at the
Fahrney — Keedy Memorial Home
in Boonsboro where he had resided
for the past two years.
A son of the late Jasper and
Hannah Yon Garner he was a lifetime
resident of Carroll County
and was a retired farmer. His wife
was the late Lydia Royer Garner.
Surviving are three children
Ralph L., Owings Mills; J. Sterling,
Westminster R.D. and Rachel
H., Falls Church, Va.; three sisters
Miss Florence H. Garner, Miss
Carrie Garner and Miss Bessie
Garner also residents at the memorial
home and three brothers
Holly P. Garner, North Manchester,
Ind.; Scott V. Garner and the
Rev. Oren Garner both of Westminster.
The funeral was held at the
Meadow Branch Church of the
Brethren of which he was a lifelong
member. The Rev. A. Joseph
Caricofe conducted services assisted
by the Kev. C. H. Gehman. Burial
was in the church cemetery.
