Mrs. Dorothy Louise Abels Dunn, 97 of Murray, Ky., died Monday, June 27, 2011 at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray, KY.
She was a homemaker, and a member of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, also was a member of the United Methodist Women. She was also a graduate of Murray High School. Born January 4, 1914 in Kuttawa, Ky.
Survivors include three sons, James Willard Dunn (Pam) of Wellington, Fla., John Howard Dunn (Betty) of Covington, Ga., William Lyn Dunn of Murray, Ky., also two grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Willard Dunn, father, Heinrich Johann Fredrick Abels, mother, Eva Byron Allison Abels, seven sisters, Mary Bynum, Marjorie McBride, Freda Broach, Vera Abels, Virginia Robinson, Mabel Langdon, Grace Graves, one brother, John Abels.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the Hicks Cemetery, Rev. Eugene Burkeen will officiate, and burial will follow. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2011 from 9-10 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
