THEODORE GERRITSEN Theodore Gerritsen was born on March 31, 1857, at Rhlneland, Missouri. His father, Reinhart Gerritsen, was born in Holland, and his mother, Dorothea Gerritsen, nee Holzem, was born in Prussia, Germany. He entered into holy wedlock with Miss Margaret Wolz on February 14, 1881, in Morrison, Mo., where they lived until eleven years ago. This union was blessed with five children, two girls, Mrs. Harry Noelke and Mrs. John Noelke of Washington, Mo.; and three boys: Joe and Herbert Gerritsen of Washington and Louis Gerritsen of Glascow, Mo. He entered into rest Sunday evening at 4:45 o'clock at his home. 206 West Second street. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning, May 18th, at. 9:00 o'clock at the St. Francis Borgia church. Interment was made in the beautiful church cemetery amidst sorrowing relatives and friends. Those who came from a distance to attend the funeral were; Louis Gerritsen of Glascow, Mo.; Geo. Wolz, of Chamois, Mo.; John Gerritsen and wife, Henry Gerritsen. Mrs. Phil Wolz, Mrs. Ed. Augustine, Mrs. Phil Bauer, Mrs. Ben Kuhlmann, John Wolz. Miss Sophia Kuhlmann, Henry Mertens, Ed. Nolte, Emil Jackquin and Miss Rosa Wolz of Morrison, Mo.; Ben Gerritsen, Lizzie and Minnie Gerritsen of Cherryvale, Kansas.

CARD OF THANKS - We desire to express our sincere thanks to our friends and neighbors for their kindness and sympathy during the illness and death of our dear husband and father, Theodore Gerritsen. We especially wish to thank the Franciscan Fathers, the pall bearers, those sending floral and spiritual bouquets and also those friends for the use of their automobiles at the funeral - Mrs. Theodore Gerritsen and family.
