Negro League Baseball Star. Great defensive catcher. Also played the outfield and all infield positions. He was a switch-hitter who had a .318 career batting average in 20 seasons with the Indianapolis ABCs, Philadelphia Hillsdales, Baltimore Elite Giants, and Philadelphia Stars. He also managed the Newark Eagles.
