Frank Powers, age 89, of California, Kentucky, passed away Friday, April 30, 2010, at Saint Elizabeth Hospital, in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. He was a retired employee of the former Railway Express Agency and an avid gardener.
Preceding him in death were his wives, Iola Sweet Powers and Dorothy Wilson Powers. Surviving are: six daughters, Linda Felix, of Chicago, Illinois, Victoria Brennan, of Cincinnati, Ohio, Rebecca Biddy, of Burlington, North Carolina, Tina Powers Brossart, of Villa Hills, Kathy Allen, of Walton, and Sherri Parr, of Alexandria; a son, Rodney Powers, of Gainesville, Florida; 20 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 5, with funeral services following, at Alexandria Funeral Home. Interment will be at Alexandria Cemetery, in Alexandria.
