Maynor Resident Taken By Death
H. Elbert Bailey, 73-year-old resident of Maynor, died in a Beckley hospital at 10:15 a.m. yesterday of a cerebral hemorrhage.
He was a member of the Church of Christ at Pax.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lottie Crews, of Pax Branch; two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Treadway of Baltimore and Mrs. O. O. Christian of East Beckley; and five grandchildren.
The body will be taken to the residence today.
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the residence by the Rev. Frederick Dinkler with burial to follow at the Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Walter Lively, Howard Billups, Robert Sweeney, Ray Thompson, Earl Smith, and Clint Lively.
