Funeral services were held Thursday morning for Michael Mullally, who died at his home in Fremont August 27, at St. Patrick's Catholic church here. Rev. Laurence Kalin officiated at the requiem mass.

Michael Joseph Mullally was born at County Westmeath, Ireland, August 6, 1871. He came to America in 1897, settling in Seward county. He married Rosa Harte of Lincoln on November 28, 1901 at Davey, Nebraska.

They moved to a farm near Utica where they resided before moving to Fremont in 1941. Mr. Mullally was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic church at Fremont and of the Modern Woodmen.

Surviving are Mrs. Mullally and 4 sons and 4 daughters, Mrs. W. R. Stavely of Topeka, Ks., Julia of Lincoln, Helen and Rose at home, Dan of Topeka, Ks., Pvt. Edward Mullally stationed at Tampa, Fla,, Pvt. John F. Mullally of Selfredge Field, Mich., and Francis at home. Also surviving is a grandchild, Patricia Stavely of Topeka, a brother and a sister in Ireland and a nephew, Joe Mullally of Minneapolis, Minn., whom he reared. Burial was made at Utica cemetery.

Reinterment at Fremont, NE probably occurred. Many of his family members are buried there, along with his wife, Rosa.
