Zona V. BILYEW, 76, formerly of 1206 Madison St., Rochester, died at 7:20 p.m. Tuesday at Life Care Center, Rochester, where she had lived since October. She had been in failing health for seven years.
She was born in Tippecanoe to Ora and Maude SHAW KLECKNER. On Dec. 26, 1940 in Tippecanoe she married Charles R. BILYEW, who survives. She had resided most of her life in Fulton County, and was a member of the First Church of God, Rochester.
Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Alan (Rosalie) HERNLY, Fort Wayne, and Mrs. Thomas (Janet) KUSAWSKI, South Bend; four grandsons; a great-grandson;a great-granddaughter; four sisters, Mrs. Donald (Ellen) ZECHIEL, South Bend; Mrs. Ramond (Elva) LONGBRAKE, Claypool; Mrs. Estel (Mary) GEIER, Rochester, and Mrs. Arden (Edna) ELLIOTT, Plymouth; a brother Samuel KLECKNER, South Bend, and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester, with the Rev. C.J. MOWRER officiating. Burial will be at the Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday and for an hour before services on Friday. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
