Alma M. Thomas was the sixth of seven children born to DeGrasse and Harriet A. (Noble) Thomas on September 7, 1855, in Rochester Township, Lorain County, Ohio. She married Walter D. Hall and together they had two children. She died on October 25, 1941, and was buried in the Wellington Town Cemetery, Lorain County, Ohio, beside her husband.
