MRS. LUVERNA AMICK, 62, DIES AT HER RESIDENCE;
FUNERAL SET TUESDAY

Mrs. Luverna Amick, 62, of 102 Ridge avenue, died at her residence at 4:15 a.m. yesterday following a short illness.

She was born in Nicholas county, and had been a resident of West Virginia since 1924. She was a membor of the Methodist church but had been attending the First Baptist Church for several years.

She is survived by her husband, Irvin Amick; two sons, Dana
Kyle and James, both of Beckley; four bothers, James O. Kyle, of Bruce; C. C. Kyle, Summersville; and James A. and Homer Kyle, of Netty; one sister, Mrs. Pearl Nutter, of Hominy Falls, and one grandchild.

The body will remain at the Calfee Furneral Home until 3 p.m. today when it will be taken to the residence.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Alvin J. Cool officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Tabor cemetery.
