Lillie M. Hicks, 98, of Mountain Home passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2005, at her home. A funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Roller Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Michael Shy officiating.

Mrs. Hicks was born March 7, 1907, in Wild Cherry to William Franklin and Flava Isabel Eddings Wood. She married Forest Hicks Oct. 27, 1923. She was a farmer's wife and member of First Baptist Church in Mountain Home. She loved to crochet and baby-sit her great-nieces, Sherry, Traci and Missy Crook. She also was an avid walker and only stopped walking when she turned 90. She loved to visit and cook for family and friends, and talk about the good ole days.

Mrs. Hicks' survivors include her great-nephew, Jack (Anna) Hickman and their children, Megan and Kaela, all of the home, and many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Forest; one infant daughter; six sisters; and four brothers.
She shares a double gravestone with:
