Note - Concerning the name 'Myrtle Angeline' or 'Angeline Myrtle' Lee - "the Genealogy record I have lists my mother's name as Myrtle Angeline Lee. I don't think she like the name Myrtle very much. On another Geneology chart my mother's name is listed Angeline Myrtle Lee. In our family Bible it has Angeline Myrtle. A birth record of our mother says Angeline Lee with no Myrtle mentioned at all. Since our mother really wanted anything official to say Angeline Myrtle Lee, we think that is the way it should read." Daniel Higgins

Higgins family story as written by Daniel Higgins Feb 2011 -
"My Dad was Catholic when they married so my mom became Catholic. I remember going to mass etc. All my brothers and sisters went to Catholic elementary school except for me. My parents transitioned from the Catholic church to studing Rosacrucian teachings. We moved from Los Angeles when my Dad retired from the LA Fire Dept after 25 or 30 years. We moved 200 miles north to Three Rivers, CA, which is at the southern entrance to Sequoia National Park. Dad became a school bus driver and maintenance man at the Three Rivers Elementary School (K-8). I was in 3rd grade when we moved to Three Rivers. I remember getting on the bus in the morning and saying hi to my dad. Boy did I have to be good on the bus.

It was hard being so far away from all of the Aunts, Uncles, and counsins on both sides that I got used to visiting while we lived in LA. Even my older brothers stayed in LA. Only Frank, Mary Jo, and I moved with Mom and Dad to Three Rivers (population 800). I spent the hot summers swimming in the rivers with friends. There were slides, undertows, and big pools to have fun in all day long. Mom died when I was 15."
