William Atkinson, a resident of Decatur about twenty years ago, died In Chicago Wednesday. The body will be brought to Decatur this afternoon for burial. The funeral will be held at the residence of Mrs. H. A. Jimison, 751 S. Webster street, Friday morning at 10 o'clock. Rev. J. C. Willits will officiate. Interment will be in Greenwood. Mr. Atkinson was a brother-in-law of Mrs. John Mildenberger, Mrs. H. A. Jimison, Mrs. John Clendenen and O.A. Clendenon, all of Decatur, and H. D. Albright of Minneapolis. He was a son-in-law of Mrs. W. H. Clendenen of Decatur. Mr. Atkinson leaves a wife and three children, Mrs. Ed. Redding of Pine Bluff, Ark., Mrs. Maud Lancaster of Chicago and D. C. Atkinson. He also leaves a granddaughter, Miss Anna Redding.
