Noel Skinner 6/12/1935 ~ 11/11/2010
Noel Skinner left this earth November 11, 2010 due to complications following surgery.He was born June 12, 1935 to Edward Thomas and Stella Jane Skinner in Bedford, Wyoming. Noel married the love of his life, Nyla Hyde. They celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary in March of this year. Noel grew up working the dairy farm and training horses. His love for horses and his talent for training helped him make a living doing what he enjoyed most. Noel was a great mentor in the horse community and touched many lives with his knowledge. He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and his service to the Lord was another of his passions.
He is survived by his wife Nyla, their children: Ronell (Julie) of Bedford, WY; Terry (David) Olson, Kal and Lee (Tori Jo) all of Heber, UT; and Randy of Provo, UT, 22 grandchildren and 19 great-grand-children. Sisters: Manon Clement of Sandy, UT; Doreen Anderson of West Jordan, UT; and Relda Reed of Draper, UT. Funeral services will be held Monday, Nov. 15th 12 noon at the LDS Church, 2395 So Mill Rd (1200 E.) Heber, UT. Viewing will take place at the same church, Sunday, Nov. 14th, 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and on Monday beginning at 10 a.m. prior to the funeral.
Arrangements are in the care of Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home. Interment Tuesday, Nov. 16th, 2 p.m. Bedford Cemetery, Bedford, WY. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Intermountain Reining Horse Association Youth.
