W. H. Gardner. Mr. Gardner was born near Fall river, Massachusetts,
In 1852 he shipped as a sailor , and came to this . coast in 1858, having in his voyages visited many foreign countries. Soon after his arrival in this state he embarked on a voyage to Tahiti and Hongkong, China , and was absent eight months. On his return in June, 1859, he settled at Pescadero, on the ranch where he has, since that time, resided continuously .
