Shelburne Falls, Dec. 28 - died aged 70 at his home in Buckland, following a long illness; native and life-long resident of Buckland; farmer; member Buckland Congregational church; besides his widow he leaves three daughters Mrs Paul Valentine and Mrs Joseph Critchley both of Buckland, and Mrs Amos Valentine of Fitchburg, and one brother Ora Rudduck of Buckland; funeral at the home with Rev J Harrison officiating, burial in Buckland cemetery [published Saturday, December 29, 1928, Springfield Republican]
