Virgil J. Passarelli, 60, of Crystal Beach, Texas, died Saturday, July 21, 2001, as the result of a car - pedestrian accident in Crystal Beach. Born in Natrona Heights, June 16, 1941, he was the son of John and Helen Frederick Passarelli. He was an oil rig laborer for Sorthum Construction in Texas. Mr. Passarelli served in the Marine Corps from 1958 to 1965 as a security guard at the U. S. Embassy in Caracas, Venezuela. He belonged to the Crystal River Moose Lodge and enjoyed collecting and selling antiques. Surviving are a brother, Les Passarelli of Saxonburg; a sister, Gloria Jones of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews. Burial will be at Mount Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights. Local arrangements are by Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg.
