Abbie Jane Gillett was the daughter of Abner C Gillett 1789 and Electa Mills.

Her father was born in Chatham, Columbia, New York, and by 1820 was in Westford, Otsego, New York and married. In 1830 he was in Lyons, Wayne, New York, and in 1840 in Junius, Seneca, New York.

Abbie Jean married Peter Traver by 1860 in Junius, Seneca and the couple lived in Junius, Seneca County until 1870 or later. There are no children for the couple that are known of. Peter Traver died while living in Junius on August 6, 1880.

Abbie later moved to Geneva, Ontario County, New York.

Abbie's gravestone is shared with her sister Martha Amanda Gillett Colvin (who also lived in Geneva) and Martha's husband Delos Colvin.

Mrs. Jennie A Traver, widow of the late Peter Traver, of Geneva, died at an early hour yesterday morning, at the age of 65 years, from the effects of heart trouble. She was an old resident of Geneva, and had been a member of the Methodist Church for many years.
