Lavina Love Smith Shinn Tucker

Lavina love was the daughter of Pleasant Love and Lear Motley Love.
She married:
(1) John Smith - divorced
(2) Littleton Crankfield Shinn
(3) James W. Tucker (1900 census)

Her obituary reads in the London neighborhood section of the news: "It becomes our sad duty to chronicle the death of "Aunt" Lovina Tucker, who departed this life Thursday, August 13. She was laid to rest in the Booher Cemetery Friday morning."

Her parents are buried in the Crain Cemetery.
John Smith, her first husband, is buried in the East Point Cemetery.
Littleton Crankfield Shinn is buried in the Ball Hill Cemetery, along with his first wife, Nelly Tucker Shinn.
It is unknown where James W. Tucker is buried.

Lavina and John Smith had two children:
(1) John T. (probably John Thomas)
(2) Jefferson Davis "JD" Smith. He married America Rook. JD is buried in the East Point Cemetery.

After the 1860 census JT disappeared as far as written records are concerned, therefore, it is unknown what happened to him.

Lavina had three children with Littleton Crankfield Shinn:
(1) Mattie Malissa Shinn Maddux
(2) David Littleton Shinn
(3) George Darling Shinn

She had no children with James W. Tucker. He was 18 years her junior.
