WEST POINT - Ivy James Hubbard Sr., 44, died Sunday, Sept. 17, 2006, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Hermon Missionary Baptist Church in West Point. The Rev. Bobby Bowen will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in West Point. Carter's Mortuary Services is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Hubbard; four children, Ivy Hubbard Jr., Ivi Joy Hollins, Brittany Cox and Crystal Robinson, all of West Point; three stepchildren, Queenie Walker and Quincy Dean (Lakesha) of West Point and Ken Dean of Shreveport, La.; his mother, Hattie Hubbard of West Point; his father, Julius B. "J.B." Gibson (Maggie) of Los Angeles, Calif.; three sisters, Bobbie Jefferson (Clyde) and Yolanda Hubbard of West Point and Kimberly Gibson of Los Angeles; four brothers, Henry Hubbard and Kent Hubbard of West Point, Jeffery Gibson (Zippa) of Mansfield, Texas, and Anthony Gibson of Los Angeles; his father-in-law, Jeremiah Marshall of Starkville; his mother-in-law, Pearlie Samuel of West Point; nine grandchildren; seven aunts, two uncles; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
