My great-great-grandfather. Supposedly fought in the Civil War, and has a "Government stone", according to my great-aunt's hand-written family tree. Thanks to Connie Stockton Schmidt for her efforts in obtaining the gravestone pics. :-)

1856, Feb. 20 - EDWARD PAUL PRUITT, age 18, m. Mary Jane Omohundro, age 17, witnessed by OBED PRUITT and Samuel Moody. He was bom in Allen Co., KY on Dec, 18, 1837 to Elijah Pruitt and Nancy Omohundro. She was born in Allen Co., KY on Sept. 1, 1840 to William Green Omohundro,
