Special Services for Mrs. Lula Jane Pound will be held p.m. Sunday in the Clarita High School Gym.
Mrs. Pound, a resident of the area, came to Oklahoma when she was 16. She was born in Bald Creek, North Carolina in 1868 and was married at old Boggy Depot. She was 87 years old at the time of her death and had been an active member of the Church of Christ for more than 30 years. Slaters Funeral home is in charge of her arrangements and burial will be at the Moore Cemetery. She is survived by daughters Mrs. J. B. Hefley, Mrs. Fred O'Neal and Mrs. Thomas Taylor of Clarita, Mrs. Homer Davis of Muskogee, Mrs. Guy Thomas of Canyon, Tex., and Mrs. Lula Garner of Oklahoma City and three sons, Charles Hearrell and Odus Hearrell of Ft. Worth and Taylor Pound, Detroit Mich..
