....Leo Lemuel Marks was the son of Lewis D. and Madora (Talbot) Marks. He was born in Kansas in Feb. 1891. The family came to Miami in 1908 where he married his first wife in the early 1920s. They had two children, Leo Monzelle Marks and Lorena Marks. His second wife was Cecilia Schehrer and they had two children, Darrell Gene Marks and Mary Jane Marks. Some of Leo's siblings were Eugene, Hazel, Harold, and Thelma Marks, all of who grew up at Miami. Leo later owned and operated the Miami Oil Company. He and his wife lived at 514 F N.E. until their deaths.
