Catherine J. (C.J.) Lowe, 46, Corydon, died Monday, Nov. 8, 2010, at her home.
Born May 27, 1964, in Corydon, she was the daughter of the late Eugene (Gabby) and Linda S. Hawkins Hayes.
She was employed as a certified nursing assistant at Indian Creek Health & Rehabilitation Center in Corydon, was a former employee of Tower Automotive in Corydon and was a member of Corydon Moose Lodge 2493.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Denise Ann Hayes, and three grandchildren, Shalonda, Savannah and Christopher James Lowe.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Ray Lowe Sr.; a brother, Terry McDonald of Corydon; two stepsons, Larry Lowe Jr. of Simpsonville, Ky., and William Lowe of Ramsey; a stepdaughter, Angela Lawson of Pekin; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation: Friday, Nov. 12, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 13, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Saturday, Nov. 13, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Heidelberg Cemetery near Corydon.
Pallbearers: Mark Hayes, Donnie Sutherland, Rod Franklin, Doug Hicks, Alvin Greer and Matt Woodward.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Cancer Society.
