Caleb and Mary are buried in Betheny Cemetery, also in Hocking Co. Betheny's in Perry Township. Sophia's dates are b Feb 1, 1815 in Perry Twp, of (then) Fairfield County d. Oct 24 1878 in Laurel Twp, Hocking Co OH. She married Aaron F Friend in Lancaster, Fairfield Co OH on Dec 25 1842. Her children are:

Caleb G Friend (infant death - 1848-9)
Amos Friend (b. 1855)
Eliza Jane Friend Baler (Hiram) (b. 1856)

More? Her father came to Hocking County as early as 1811 and bought a farm in northwest Perry Twp. He married Mary Clellan on April 4 1814 and they had their first child, a daughter, Sophia the next year. Sophia grew up on Caleb's farm where she met Aaron Friend.
Caleb Hedges Jr. came from Maryland, as did his mother Mary Dern Hedges
Rice Wolf. She is buried in Betheny Cemetery as is her third husband,
Valentine Wolf.
