She graduated from the former Superior Central High School and was employed in the meat department of the former Super Town Foods in Superior prior to retiring.
She was a member of Cathedral of Christ the King, the Minong Flowage Assn, Superior Women's Bowling Assn and the Meatcutters Union affiliated with Super Town Foods.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas, in September 1992; and a brother, Gail Nelson.
Surviving asr a son, Nicholas (Jean Raivala) Doyle, Superior; two daughters, Victoria (Greg) Owens, Superior and Patricia Jardine, Port Wing; a brother, Marvin (Eileen) Nelson, Lake Amnicon; eight granddaughters; one great-granddaughter; a sister-in-law, Regina Nelson, Superior; and several nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters, Rhiannon, Jennifer, Jacelyn, Sarah, Lettie and Katherine Jardine. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
