E. H. Mallow was born in Indiana, March 30th, 1856, came to Gasconade County when only a boy. On March the 7th, 1880 was united in marriage to Malinda Strump a resident of the same county, to this union was born six children, four boys and two girls, the elder son died in infancy. He is survived by a wife, and five children: Jesse F. Mallow, now temporary located at Fort Meyer, Fla., Mrs. Emma Klien of Belle, Mo., Oda A. Mallow, Vichy, Mo., Roy C. Mallow, Earlham, Iowa, and Mrs. Clara Rogers, Seattle, Washington.
He was united with the Christian Church when a young man, at Cleavesville, Mo., and was baptized by Rev. Hewston Ferrell, to which he lived faithful to the end in answer to the call of the Almighty God, on March 24th, 1926, his spirit returned to Him who gave it being 68 years, 11 months and 24 days of age. Funeral services were held at Liberty where he at one time held his membership, conducted by Rev. H. H. Diestelkamp, of Belle, Mo., after which burial was in the Liberty Cemetery.
