John Mosher was the son of Naaman Mosher and grandson of Samuel Mosher. He was a veteran of the Revolutionary War. He lived briefly in Massachusetts and Vermont before moving to Renseselaer Co., NY. He later moved to Middlebury in Wyoming Co. around 1823. By 1830 he had moved to New Albion in Cattaraugus Co.
His children were: Charles Samuel Mosher, Reuben Mosher, John Mosher, Jeremiah Mosher, Bersheba Mosher, Lydia Miller, Sarah Hall, Benjamin Mosher and Stephen Mosher.
Charles Samuel died about 1863, burial location unknown.
Jeremiah born about 1795, no further information known.
Bersheba was living with her sister Sara in 1850. No further information known. Possibly the Miss Bathsheba Mosher buried in Wyoming Cemetery, Wyoming, NY since the date of birth matches and she has other family buried there.
Sarah Hall died in Dayton, Cattaraugus Co., NY about 1851. No burial location found.
Stephen Mosher died 27 Nov 1875 in Gowanda, NY. No burial location found.
