Thomas Brown was the son of Jacob & Abigail Berry Brown. Thomas & his wife were murdered by their hired man. Their children: Abigail Ann (Brown)Green, Jacob Thayer Brown and Charles Thomas Brown. The accounting of the murder in "The Genealogy of John Brown" by Marguerite Brown is on page 133 and is the way I remember my mother telling the story.
