Lindsey Hoover, age 89, passed away December 21 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. He was born May 1, 1902 as the son of Zora Crouch and Riley Hoover, both of whom precede him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Irene Coffey; two daughters, Lucille Ringley of Monticello and Lois Talcott of Indianapolis; four step children, James Coffey, Jean Blackburn and Virginia and Betty Hoover; three brothers, Allen, Stanley and Junior Hoover; and one sister, Nellie Hoover.
Funeral services were held December 24 with burial in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
