My note: There seemed to be some confusion as to Mr. H. J/F/D Koethe middle initial. Sometimes he is "H. J." and sometimes he is "H. J." and other times I've seen "H. D.". I have no idea which is correct at this time. I typed the document exactly as it was given to me.

Other Notes:

The BOBBIE KOETHE mentioned in his grandfather's Will was a "minor" at the time of JOHN HERMANN KOETHE's death August 1932. BOBBIE KOETHE was Robert Louis KOETHE (01 Jun 1927 - 29 Jul 2005 Newberry Co, SC), son of Fred KOETHE and wife Mabel DAUGHERTY.

HERMAN KOETHE, year 1890, occupation "laborer", address is listed as 99 Dawson Alley, A in: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania City Directories, 1888-1892. Neither HERMAN nor HERMANN KOETHE is found in the 1890 Pennsylvania Census at this time.

"HERMANN KOETHE" immigrated from the port of Bremen, Germany to New York (July 24, 1871) on the Ship Deutschland (port of New York) with his father, mother and siblings. Many other Koethe's immigrated at different times and settled in Texas, Indiana, Wisconsin, etc. Source: the book "New Homes In A New Land: German Immigration To Texas, 1847-1861" and "Germans to America, 1854 - 1871".
