OAK HILL - Myrtle Virginia Shrewsbury Moses, 79, of Oak Hill, died on Monday, Nov. 8, 2010, at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill.
Born January 28, 1931, at Pax, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Early T. Shrewsbury Sr. and Ada M. Snuffer Shrewsbury Batten.
Mrs. Moses was a Protestant and homemaker.
Her husband, James W. Moses, a son, James Delano Moses and a brother, Early T. Shrewsbury Jr. preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son, Timothy R. Moses of Oak Hill; two daughters, Edith M. Wilson of Durham, N.C. and Lynn Caudill of Graham, N.C.;
a sister, Freda Young of Oak Hill; six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. on Friday, November 12, 2010 at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Ronnie Persinger officiating.
Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Fishes and Loaves, c/o Family Worship Center, PO Box 1123, Beckley WV 25802.
