VERN MINNARD, WORLD WAR VETERAN DIES
Vern Minnard, 40, a veteran of the World war, died Sunday morning at the Veterans hospital, Camp Custer, after an illness of a couple of months. He was a member of Burdick- Guest Post American Legion and the Loyal Order of the Moose. He had resided in Otsego twenty-five years and been employed in the Mac Sim Bar paper mill for the past ten years. Surviving are his widow and six children, his father, two sisters and two brothers. Funeral services were held at the Benson chapel at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon.
Rev. F. J. Schlueter officiating . Members of the Legion and the Moose lodge had charge of the commitment services in Mountain Home cemetery.
