NISSWA -- James "Jim" A. Yager, age 65, resident of Nisswa, died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2004, at his home. Jim was born on April 6, 1938, to Joseph and Eleanor (Bowers) Yager in St. Cloud, Minn. He graduated from Tech High School in St. Cloud, served in the Air Force then worked for his father as a plumber until 1977, when he began his own business, Jim's Plumbing and Heating. He is a member of the Aurora Masonic Lodge No. 100 and Grace United Methodist Church in Pequot Lakes, Minn.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Darlene; son Joseph and daughter Marianne, all of Nisswa; and sisters, Marilyn Smith and Judy Martin of San Antonio, Texas.

His parents of Brainerd and his brother, Richard of St. Cloud, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Grace United Methodist Church in Pequot Lakes with the Rev. Dan Doughty officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd with military honors provided by American Legion Color Guard Post No. 255.
