Josephine L. Varani, 81, of Iron died Monday, Nov. 8, 2010, at her residence.
She was born on March 27, 1929, in Fort Francis, Ontario to Leander F. and Elizabeth A. Frenette. On June 4, 1983, she was united in marriage to Eugene V. Varani in Fort Francis. Josephine was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church in Eveleth.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene; daughter, Bonnie (Brian) Mattila; stepchildren, Eugene Varani, Donella (Ike) Strohmayer, Richard (Bunny) Varani, Susan (John) West and Shawn (Alma) Varani; brother, Richard Frenette; grandchildren, Trent, Trevor, Mya, Merrisa, Alicia, Aeron, Elizabeth, Brittany, Jacob; and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Harold.
Interment in Eveleth Cemetery.
