Born November 9, 1913 in Johnstown, she was the daughter of the late Cyrus R. and Eva L. (Eash) Thomas.
Mrs. Shealer was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Gettysburg.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.
Eva was the wife of the late Earl D. Shealer, who died in 1995, and is survived by her daughter, Barbara A. Hoffman of Gettysburg; four grandsons, Jeffrey Brawner and wife Brenda, Jason Hoffman and fiancée Irene, Timothy Hoffman and wife Peggy, Adam Hoffman and wife Dawn; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dora Sanders of Gettysburg, Florence Foulk of Baltimore; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Billie Mae Brawner; as well as four brothers and five sisters.
Interment: Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens.
