Mrs. Fannie E. Whitehead, 70, wife of the late William J. Whitehead, passed away Thursday at the home of a son, Roy S. Whitehead, near Figsboro, following an illness of several years.
Funeral services will be held Saturday from the home of C. I. Barbour, near Snow Creek with burial to follow in the family burial plot.
Surviving are five sons: William J., Roy S., Benjamin, Robert L. and Belcher Whitehead, two step-daughters, Mrs. Eva Peed and Mrs. Annie Archer.
Born and reared in the Snow Creek community, the deceased spent her entire life there, with the exception of several years residence in Martinsville.
