Services for the Rev. Fred F. Bosworth, 81, internationally known evangelist who died in his home in Miami, will be held in Miami Monday. In Chicago, in the 1920s, he acquired a reputation as a faith healer.
He was born in Utica, Neb., and was reared in Zion, Lake county, where he became director of the Zion concert band. After he entered the ministry, he and his brother, Bert B., a Zion postoffice clerk, toured the country, Later he conducted services in South Africa, Cuba, Germany, Switzerland, and Japan. He formerly lived in River Forest.
Survivors include his widow, Florence; two daughters, Mrs. Vivian Ferguson and Mrs. Ann Athabell Hunt, and two sons, Fred F. Jr. and the Rev. Robert V.
