Robert "Bob" Earl Phillips, age 78, of Leslie passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 3rd, 2010. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri on March 9th, 1932 to LeRoy and Mildred (Dean) Phillips.

Robert served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He attended the University of California. Bob retired in 1994 from the Sprint Corporation. He was a Gideon and a member of St. Albans Episcopal Church in Bolivar, Missouri. He also was an associate member of the Leslie United Methodist Church. Bob will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Robert E. Phillips was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Francis Lee.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Lou Phillips of the home; one son, Robert Phillips of Las Vegas, NV; one daughter, Kari of Las Vegas, NV; one grandson, Tommy Phillips; and one stepson, JD Rash of Wheatland, MO. Several uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews will also mourn his passing.

Cremation services will by Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, November 8, 2010 at 1 PM at the Leslie United Methodist Church with Bro. Ed Warren officiating. Burial will be private in George's Creek Cemetery in Pyatt, AR.

At the families request memorials may be made to the Gideons International, Marshall Camp, PO Box 1305, Marshall, Arkansas 72650.
