"... Mrs. Washburn, formerly a teacher in the schools of the town and county, is active in social life, being a member of the Trvelers' Club, the Ladies' Circle, the W. C. T. U., and the D. A. R. She was born in Pompey, Onondaga County, N. Y., May 14, 1859. Her widowed mother has a place in the home. Mr. and Mrs. Washburn are affiliated with the Methodist Episcopal church."
