GILLENTINE, John, 78, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday November 2, 2010. John was born in Huntsville, Alabama on Nov. 26, 1931. He was retired from Roadway Express. John served our country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and was a member of the U.S. Trotting Association.

Survived by daughter & son-in-law, Roma & Gary Taylor; 3 sons, John L., Mike & Vicki, Steve Getty; 8 grandchildren, Beth, Steve, Tia, Michael, Kristen, Kelli, Alec & Stephanie; 5 great grandchildren, Garrett, Kayle, Lily, Emma & Aubrey; brothers, LeRoy & Donald.

Graveside service at the Dayton National Cemetery, 4100 W. Third St., Dayton. John's family will receive friends at the GEORGE C. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, "Northridge Chapel," 5040 Frederick Pike at Needmore Road, Dayton, Oh. middle name and parents provided by Linda Key 46989979
